PEN, ORCA, CARVER, INKWELL · POCi STORIES
Stories by people of color.
Short fiction you can read in one sitting, series you can watch a minute at a time, and every story read aloud. Afrofuturism, horror, fantasy, and satire with teeth. The first stories are being written now.
The shelves
Afrofuturism
Water wars, sky cities and a future rebuilt by hand. The world of The Tournaments for 10,000 Souls lives here.
Horror
Short, cold stories for after dark.
Fantasy
Lineages, spirits and swordplay.
Satire
Black humor and satire, aimed up: at billionaires, at the hustle, at the American dream.
READ · WATCH · LISTEN Every story comes three ways: on the page, as a vertical series narrated over original art, and as a podcast episode.
THE SUNDAY STORY
One story, every Sunday.
Get the first stories as they're published, with the episode that goes with each one. Free. Writers and institutions: tell us, and we'll send what's coming for you too.
